The following Peer Pressure Scenario Cards explores some realistic and relatable peer pressure situations to support little learners explore this topic. There are a total of 20 scenario cards and written as first person to encourage empathy, understanding and compassion. On each card, there is a visual representation of the peer pressure situation, as well as a written narrative explaining what is happening. At the bottom of the scenario card includes a reflective question – “Was I influenced by peer pressure?” Students are then encouraged to answer “Yes” or “No”. As an extension activity there are some additional reflective questions for students to explore. Included in this resource are two paddle pop templates for both the “thumbs up” and “thumbs down” option. This can be utilized for whole class or small group situations to encourage each student to participate.

The goal of enhancing self-esteem for these students is not an easy one, but it is an important component of any successful treatment program. This workbook has been developed to help students to develop the tools to help individuals focus on their strengths and abilities, promote feelings of self-worth, encourage a more optimistic attitude and install a hope for their future. This 38 page workbook addresses important issues that are relevant in relation to increasing self-esteem, understanding feelings, bullying and anger management. This workbook is designed so that the child has an opportunity to reflect on who they are, including to gain further insights into self-esteem, feelings, bullying and anger management. Some activities are also whole-class activities to encourage self-esteem and empowerment, encouraging all children to isolate and express the things that they like and admire in the others in a very fun way.

This is a great card game to help introduce and reinforce learning about money and counting amounts. HOW TO PLAY 1.Simply pass out the cards to all the players individually. 2.Encourage everyone to sit in a circle. 3.Pick one player to go first. 4.They are to read one of their cards. For example “I have 5 dollars. Who has 2 dollars?” 5.The next person who has the 2 dollars card reads their card and so forth. 6.Play continues until all of the cards are read. 7.If you want to make this more challenging, you can time the game and see if you can break your own record!
